Green Power Plant , unique icharge technology is an intelligently stepped charging method to charge the batteries. Thistechnology helps to increase battery life and save electricity. When you use Green Power Plant inverter with icharge technology you can increase battery life upto 30%, so payback period to replace batteries is longer. In other inverters without icharge technology the battery voltage in no-load condition will drastically drop below reconnect voltage and more power will be consumed and wasted to recharge the batteries to its maximum level. icharge technology will not allow the batteries to go below the re connect voltage to save energy.
icharge technology will adopt following steps while charging the batteries. They are,
Step 1 The system charges the battery at maximum required current till the battery gets fully charged.
Step 2 The system gradually reduces the charging current also by monitoring the battery voltage. When charging current is reduced down to 1/4th of the maximum charging current the system will switch to step 3.
Step 3 The system will not charge the battery in this mode. As a result battery voltage will start falling and when it drops below reconnect voltage level, the system will switch to step 4.
Step 4 This is called float charging method where the system will charge the battery with very low charging current to keep the battery at reconnect voltage level.
High performance MPPT
Maximum Power Point Tracking ( MPPT ) is the method of extracting maximum available power from the solar panels. Our Smart SX inverter’s unique Digital Signal Processing ( DSP ) based MPPT will track at which point the maximum power can be extracted from the panel by varying the Pulse Width Modulation ( PWM ) and Modulation Frequency. This most advance MPPT will extract 99% of available solar power.
More electricity saving
Smart SX Inverters have two modes namely Typical Solar Mode ( TSM ) and Intelligent Solar Mode ( ISM ) to efficiently save Electricity Bill and to deliver Uninterrupted Power Supply all the time. TSM and ISM comes with a toggle switch at the back of the inverter.
Typical Solar Mode
In this mode the system will charge the battery only from solar power in day time. When battery gets fully charged (Battery Voltage: 14.2V) and in the absence of solar power the system will charge only from the battery even if grid power is available. When battery voltage drops down to 12V the system will check for solar power, if solar power is not available then the system will switch to grid to charge the batteries.
Intelligent Solar Mode
In this mode the system will charge the battery only from solar power. When battery level comes down to Battery Voltage 12V and in the absence of solar power the system will charge only from the battery even if grid power is available. When battery voltage drops down to 12V the system will check for solar power, if solar power is not available then the system will switch to grid. Grid power will be used only for the electrical appliances which are connected to the Inverter and not for charging batteries. This will help in saving Electricity Bill.
